Mask Mandate Debate 2022

Happy Tuesday? Are you watching the news ar all lately? People are actually arguing about mask mandates. Folks are protesting school board meetings, city council votes and state judicial rulings. Even our Canadian neighbors are facing trucker strikes... even though 90% are vaccinated. The science still backs wearing masks and being vaccinated as curbing the pandemic spread. Remarkably, the 2020 Presidential Election drama continues eighteen months later with no end in sight. What saddens me the most is that innocent Americans are dying due to the false information spread on the internet. The spiteful rancor towards the pandemic is one of finger pointing, false narratives and bruised egos feigned as a fight for freedom. Unfortunately many folks have succumbed to the ignorance and speak venormously. Think about the last "debate" you had with someone. Can you separate the person from their beliefs? Or have you cut them out of your life? I actually believe that cooler heads will prevail. Our children are depending on us to guide them safely to adulthood. They are not experiments nor are they political pawns. I am floored as people are willing to risk childrens' lives to prove a point.. Trolls enter into social media and wreak havoc on many platforms. Why? Absolute insanity!!! I can't imagine what our Heavenly Father is thinking? How would He rate us? How would you grade yourself? I have worked in environments with abject racists and socioeconomic snobs. Wherever I am, God's grace and mercy covers me every step of the way. Because of His love and guidance, I continue to maintain my peace in the midst of this political storm. So how have you fared in the face of all this?
