I learned to hear silence. That's the kind of life I lived: simple. I learned to see things in people around me, in my mom, dad, brothers and sisters.
This was as A-HA moment. We rush through life without stopping to live. We don't or can't afford to take a break until we're hospitalized. I reflected on my family history to see what "The Jones's " are doing. Coming from Cleveland, our Christian work ethic is strong. We put our noses to the grindstone and work. No fanfare. No social media. No faking. No fronting. Always a helping hand and a resource to fall back on. Mom blessed us with her life spent in service, and her prayers still carry us through after her passing. Dad still holds us down while my siblings and I make our impact in this world. With this in mind, what are you working on? How is it going for you? The real question- are you ready for the change you're working towards? We must move forward with our desires, goals and dreams. Pass or fail, the only way to see what works is to test it out. No one needs to know what your results are unless they can help get you to the next level. It's a better testament when you've accomplished something rather than the struggle to get there. Everyone wants to win at something and tell that story. Learn to listen to silence. Embrace it and observe how much simpler your life will be. Let go and let God guide you to your destination. Your success will scream out loud for you. Allow your tests to be your testimony. I know it will be worth it in the end because of all the stories proceeding mine. I'm certainly sharing my journey and I'm inviting you to come along. Please share your comments below. Thank you for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!
I really enjoyed your blog post. It's imperative that we "learn to hear silence;" with so many distractions it can be a challenge, but well worth the try!
