Mentioning The Name Of Jesus

ITS FINALLY SNOWING IN CHICAGO!!! HALLELUJAH 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Now its beginning to look a lot like Christmas... day late and dollar short. So how was 2021 for you? Did this holiday season live up to your expectations? Or was it just another day for you amid the pandemic? Many spent time with their families, whether remote or in-person. I decided to shelter in place, recover, heal and be safe at home. This gave me a chance to reflect on the year that was markedly different from 2020. As I looked back, I gave thanks that my immediate or extended family avoided the tragedy of the coronavirus.  Everyone has their job, their businesses and their homes. Everyone has clothes on their backs, shoes on their feet, and food on the table. EVERYONE is thankful and grateful that we made it this far. Coming from the Midwest (Hello Cleveland), we all have a strong Christian work ethic and strong family ties. The peace, love and joy we hold amongst our family and friends extend over the miles between us. I wish the same for the rest of the world and hopefully we'll get there. Let me tell you though, this was not the greatest message. It was actually delivered over 2000 years ago. His name is Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God. In this politically correct climate, saying "JESUS" or "CHRIST" seems to wreak havoc and create chaos. It blows my mind that people can swear, threaten, harass, bully and spread false narratives across the news and social media. But the world expects Christians to stay silent about their core beliefs. I CANT WITH THAT!!! In Philippians 2:10-11, the Bible says the following:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus came to earth to die for sinners like you and me, and redeem us to Abba Father. Christmas is the acknowledgement of our Savior beginning His reign on earth. God knew us before the beginning of time, and loved us unconditionally. Regardless of the mistakes we made, he still cared about us. When we were in sin, it grieved Him. So much so, He gave His only begotten Son to save us. Not a preacher. Not a prophet. Not an evangelist. Not an apostle. GOD SENT HIS VERY BEST!!! I'm so glad that Jesus saved me at an early age, and has kept me until this present moment. Have you ever told anyone your testimony? Have you ever received a blessing you didn't know you needed? If so, were you glad to get it? How many thank yous have you bestowed on the Lover of your soul? Take the time to reflect deeply and thoughtfully on your relationship with Christ. I could never tell everything that God has done for me, even with 10,000 tongues. And you? Are you silent? Or are you loud and proud about Jesus? Share your comments below. Thank you for reading this  article  and supporting this blogspace.  Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!
