Watch Night Clean Up 2021
HAPPY FRIDAYπππ HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE 2021πππ So ready to celebrate all things new. Oh the memories made during this pandemic!!! 2021 went by so fast compared to the decade of 2020. I mean it feels like my life is already changing for the better. Looking forward to the virtual Watch Night services. Sheltering in place has helped me with cleaning up the house before the clock strikes 12 midnight. Doing the 7-Day Manifest Challenge helped me clarify what I want and need to do. Taking measurable steps helps to track progress. So much accomplished and so much still left to do. Have you been in this spot? Truly in the middle of everything and waiting for direction. I took some time away from blogging to truly focus on life. I've paired down my duties and responsibilities and given other peoples problems back to them. Are you carrying the burdens for those who dumped them on your plate? Have you gained anything by sacrificing yourself? Or are you still empty? I have one word for you......purge. Get rid of anything or anyone who no longer benefits you. Do not carry that garbage into 2022. Concentrate your energy on elevating your life. As you rise, you'll lift others with you. When people see you making positive moves, their attitudes towards you will change. Those who wish you well will still be by your side. Those who don't can watch from the sidelines. You only have one chance at this thing called life. Why not live your best life? The purple life. How was your journey through 2021? Fast? Slow? Good? Bad? Please share your comments below. So many lives lost to a big disease with a big name and its many variants. But we survived. We woke up this morning blessed to see a new day waiting for a new year. We will have 365 days to move as far away from 2021 as possible. The journey doesn't end here. Hopefully, you won't bring garbage into your new season. Negativity has never had a place in your destiny nor served any purpose in life. There's work to do and experiences to be had. Opportunities are presenting themselves daily. Set Adrift On Mom's Birthday Memory Bliss
Happy Hump Day! Today has been a day of quiet reflection for me. I take this time to honor my Mom who passed over 10 years ago. She was born on this day many years ago. We always made the time to celebrate hher while she was living. Her memory lives on blissfully in our hearts. I won't tell what her age would have been if she were still alive, but I will say she touched many lives during her time on earth. I remember her warm smile, big brown eyes, and radiant spirit that grabbed everyone she met. She taught many students and she was the center of our family. Mom was a warrior for Christ and spread the gospel wherever she went. Even in the nursing home during her later years, she ministered to the staff and her many visitors. I had the opportunity to share her with the world, yet keep the best of her with me. Mom encouraged my curiosity and stoked the flames of exploration to quench the questions. She allowed us to think for ourselves with gentle parental support and guidance. Always a sophisticated woman with grace, style, and beauty. She laid the foundation for our love of God and our Christian principles. Mom also gave us the capacity to love others as we love our own. I know she'd be proud of the blogs I've written and look forward to the content portrayed. I will keep it up as my journey is continuing. Happy Birthday Mom!!! Who is your influencer? Who motivates you to do better? How is your journey going during this season? Please share your comments below. Thank you for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Mentioning The Name Of Jesus
ITS FINALLY SNOWING IN CHICAGO!!! HALLELUJAH ππ½ππ½ππ½ Now its beginning to look a lot like Christmas... day late and dollar short. So how was 2021 for you? Did this holiday season live up to your expectations? Or was it just another day for you amid the pandemic? Many spent time with their families, whether remote or in-person. I decided to shelter in place, recover, heal and be safe at home. This gave me a chance to reflect on the year that was markedly different from 2020. As I looked back, I gave thanks that my immediate or extended family avoided the tragedy of the coronavirus. Everyone has their job, their businesses and their homes. Everyone has clothes on their backs, shoes on their feet, and food on the table. EVERYONE is thankful and grateful that we made it this far. Coming from the Midwest (Hello Cleveland), we all have a strong Christian work ethic and strong family ties. The peace, love and joy we hold amongst our family and friends extend over the miles between us. I wish the same for the rest of the world and hopefully we'll get there. Let me tell you though, this was not the greatest message. It was actually delivered over 2000 years ago. His name is Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God. In this politically correct climate, saying "JESUS" or "CHRIST" seems to wreak havoc and create chaos. It blows my mind that people can swear, threaten, harass, bully and spread false narratives across the news and social media. But the world expects Christians to stay silent about their core beliefs. I CANT WITH THAT!!! In Philippians 2:10-11, the Bible says the following:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Jesus came to earth to die for sinners like you and me, and redeem us to Abba Father. Christmas is the acknowledgement of our Savior beginning His reign on earth. God knew us before the beginning of time, and loved us unconditionally. Regardless of the mistakes we made, he still cared about us. When we were in sin, it grieved Him. So much so, He gave His only begotten Son to save us. Not a preacher. Not a prophet. Not an evangelist. Not an apostle. GOD SENT HIS VERY BEST!!! I'm so glad that Jesus saved me at an early age, and has kept me until this present moment. Have you ever told anyone your testimony? Have you ever received a blessing you didn't know you needed? If so, were you glad to get it? How many thank yous have you bestowed on the Lover of your soul? Take the time to reflect deeply and thoughtfully on your relationship with Christ. I could never tell everything that God has done for me, even with 10,000 tongues. And you? Are you silent? Or are you loud and proud about Jesus? Share your comments below. GIVE YOURSELF THE GIFT OF SELF-CARE AFTER CHRISTMAS
Happy Monday Everyone!!! Celebrating Christmas during the pandemic tested our mental and spiritual fortitude again. The Build Back Better package was stalled by our current Congressional Administration. Many families are struggling to make ends meet still. Many charities are strapped for resources as they try to meet the need. People are breaking records as they travel to see loved ones. The government is recommending that we shelter in place due to the increased spread and variations of the coronavirus. But what do the lonely due at Christmas? I enjoy my alone time especially while I'm recovering. I've been very lucky to have friends i couldlean on if necessary. But if you feel alone, sullen and in despair? WebMD has a list of 16 things you can do to fight the slump:
Make realistic expectations. Set realistic goals for yourself. Don't take on more than you can handle. List and prioritize important activities. Make tasks more doable. Don't put all your energy into just one thing Live and enjoy the present. Look to the future with optimism. Don't compare today with the past. Volunteer some time to help others. Find activities that are free Limit your drinking. Try something new. Celebrate the holidays in a new way. Spend time with supportive and caring people. Reach out for help.
Self care has become so important to mental health and well being. If you have difficulty answering these questions, take the time to reflect deeply and seek professional help if needed. I could never tell everything that God has done for me, even during the pandemic. How about you? What do you have to say? Share your comments below. THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS-facing everyday life without fear
'Twas the night after Christmas, and I'm writing to you. I hope your holidays were happy, and not making you blue. We jump from Christmas to Kwanzaa to New Year's without taking a break. Now more than ever before, we need to remain and maintain positivity. Depression is a real struggle for some people this time of the year. There's even a medical condition called S.A.D. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a distinct mental health condition Considered "holiday blues", it can be brought on by stress, fatigue, expectations, commercialization, finances, and separation from family and friends. The Mayo Clinic has 10 tips for coping through the holiday season:
- Acknowledge your feelings.
Reach out.
Be realistic.
- Set aside differences.
Stick to a budget.
- Plan ahead.
Don't abandon healthy habits.
Take a breather.
Learn to say no
- Seek professional help if you need it.
I always recommend listening to music for any situation. It can take you from where you are to where you want to be. I just left the virtual Club Quarantine after listening to my Sunday sermons. I love music and I'm a HUGE Prince fan. His musical catalog covers every mood imaginable. A recent group post stated the surprise that Prince only made one holiday song "Another Lonely Christmas ". In researching for this post, I discovered that he wrote this song in 1984 during the height of his career. The song was the B side for "I Would Die For You". He only performed the song live once on Dec 26,1984. The song details the loss of a loved one and the memories shared. During this pandemic, there's been so much loss. I want to encourage you to face reality AND count your blessings. Remember and honor those who have passed on, but recognize they want you to keep living. I want you to keep living. You are needed in this wild, wonderful world. Please take care of yourself during this Coronavirus variant filled holiday season. If you need professional help, contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 800.273.8255. Let's help each other along with this thing called life. Please share your comments below. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!!
Happy Saturday Everyone!!! Its Decemver 25th so... Merry Christmasπ Some folks are actually offended at using Christ in Christmas and just say "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings". So let me be clear... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUSπππππππππ Most people enjoy celebrating birthdays either for themselves or loved ones. Today should be a day of good tidings of comfort and joy. Saturday nights are generally open to do what you want, so revel in the choices you've made.
Do me a favor though...check on your Christian friends. They put on a brave face even during this time of the year even when they're crumbling inside. Let's release the hostility and embrace the vulnerability. Be that safe place for folks to return to the real world. Let's move differently in these last few days of 2021. How was Christmas for you today? Hectic? Stressful? Did you have travel plans? Did you have guests over? Did you stick to your budget? What gifts did you receive? Well let me tell you that I was home alone. Peaceful and quiet. I had plenty of holiday cheer stocked up while recovering from eye surgery. I had the most unexpected pleasure.. stresslessness. It blows my mind. But I know that I will enjoy visiting home for the holidays once the pandemic is over. What unexpected joy did you receive this holiday season? Did it bless you real good? Making Your Days Merry And Bright
ITS CHRISTMAS EVEπππ Happy Friday Everyone!!! My hope is that everything is going well for you today. 2021 has added several layers to a normally wonderful time of the year. I want to encourage you to walk towards the light. Seek the silver lining. Find yourself and don't let go. Happiness is a mindset especially during the Christmas season. It's your life. You are the one who controls the decisions you make. You are the one who must live with the consequences. It all falls on you about the things you do. We are on a perpetual grind to achieve success. It's time to stop and celebrate the holiday. Take some time to be happy. I generate joy and I share my love and light with all. My foundation is sure with Jesus Christ and my ceiling reaches up to heaven above. I no longer trade my beauty for the ashes of the miserable. I just pray that God blesses my loved ones near and far and watches over them until we see each other again. How about you? Are you happy? Is your glass half full? Or are you dying of thirst? Here are some pointers for surviving the holidays:
-Stay hydrated
-Set boundaries
-Stick to a budget
-Manage your time
-Lean into your support circle
-Practice gratitude
Please note that some folks are struggling to make it. Prince sang about "Another Lonely Christmas" because of a Christmas Day death. We must acknowledge people and their mental health needs. During the pandemic, many cities have sponsored and updated wellbeing checks to ensure residents are cared for. Social media has taken the stigma from asking for virtual hugs, kind words, or motivational quotes. Last year, I asked for some "purple love" to be sent to me. The response was overwhelming and overflowing. Special shout out to all Prince fans. The Purple Family sent every Prince photo, purple hearts and music clips which brightened my day. All my purple lovers groups posted every purple product you could want. Although I couldn't speak to why I felt that way, but the positive vibrations lifted my mood and energized my spirit.Friends and family have been checking on me to lend an ear and soothe my soul during my recovery. So I ask you now... are you making merry? Who is in your corner this time of the year? Is your circle lifting you up? Are your emotional tanks full or empty? Know that I care and am concerned about you. Please share your comments below. Thank you for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy.

Dealing with Grinches, Scrooges and Bah Humbuggers during the Holidays
Happy Christmas Eve EveπππThis Thursday the news is wrought with tragedies. Storms. Mandates. Recalls. Shootings. Carjackings. Fires. Coronavirus. Unfortunately, you see it every day. People with bad intentions wreaking havoc... usually with disaterous results. Coupled with mental health issues, Christmastime can bring out the worst in people. Online disputes between complete strangers about a variety of topics. Politically divided conversations amongst opposing factions. Experts are challenged on their work by an observer. Sometimes they're interested in offering constructive criticism. Oftentimes, they want attention from the Event Host or Sponsors. Grinches. Scrooges. Bah Humbuggers. Miserable Individuals. I call them Basement Dwellers. You can give a person the whole house, but they choose to go lower and settle for the least. No matter how you try to spread holiday cheer or charitable giving, they just want to infuse their own agenda. So what do you do? How do you maintain your dignity and your success while quashing the "noise". While doing my research, I saw these tips on how to deal with them:
1. Picture what you want to have.
2. Set boundaries.
3. Avoid family conflict.
4. Focus on what you control.
5. Distinguish hatred from critics.
6. Don't take it personally.
7. Use it to get better.
8. Humanize yourself.
9. Don't focus on the negative.
I implore you to put these tips into practice as you face your own challenges. Don't take it personal. Recognize that they can only come from their knowledge levels and experiences. Everyone has a different mindset for holiday celebrations. Folks approach matters in ways they've learned. That's why it's important to know who surrounds you and who supports you. What holiday stressors have you worked through? What are your coping mechanisms? Do you have any lasting effects? Move beyond your comfort zone
Happy Hump Day!!! Its the final holiday countdown. Three days until Christmas and 10 days before 2022. Are you excited? Or are you frazzled? Since I'm still recovering from surgery, I'm in a stress free zone. Trust and believe, people leave you alone when they think you need some help. I wish it weren't true, but the peace I have is too precious to give up now. Have you ever been channel surfing when something caught your attention? Usually it's some novel idea or fleeting fancy. This story grabbed me and made me take notice. It was an entertainment reporting show, and they did a segment on the 40 year anniversary of Dreamgirls. One of the biggest stars used her leverage on Broadway to produce a show. She rattled off names that sounded like the who's who of urban culture. Her stories were wildly funny and gripping. People often joke about the things rich people spend money on. I was tempted to throw this story into that category. Yet it made me more inquisitive. I then watched the evening news for pandemic updates. One of the reporters interviewed the President. Although he claims it's under control, his facial expressions said otherwise. It was hard to watch. I was in such pain that I closed my eyes and just listened. How many times have you experienced something painful that was supposed to help you? I remember my mom allowing me to touch a hot stove to feel the pain of burning so I'd never do it again. I became more cautious as I grew into my curiosity. I wanted to evaluate all options before moving forward. I don't like feeling pain or choosing the option that delivers pain. So I spent my early years being safe.....secure in my world. God had bigger plans, but He waited for me to build the maturity to seek Him fully and come under His plan. He used the pains and trials of life that I went through to build me up into the vessel He could use for His divine purpose. I look forward to my vision being nearly perfect at the end of this journey. What was your biggest pain? Did it work out for your good? Do you feel you learned from it? Have you made that mistake again? How do you track your progress? These are the types of questions that I work with as we survive this pandemic. The answer always boils down to the life that I want to live. No regrets. No woulda, coulda, shoulda. No complaints. The journey is far from over and more precious with every step. Reassessing Your Journey
Happy Tuesday Everyone. It's the Winter Solstice today, so winter begins and the days will get longer. With four days until Christmas, the news is announcing more restrictions and protocols to be followed.
2022 is fast approaching. Usually people take the time to review what's working for them. They'll make the necessary adjustments and eliminate things draining their resources. Have you noticed the subtle changes in your body? Your mind? Your heart? Do you feel like you've gained a lot but the scale hasn't moved? Are you wearing the weight of the world on your shoulders? How has the pandemic affected you mentally, physically and spiritually? These things happen as we get older and wiser. When we change our routine, we're learning new skills. We form new habits and break old ones. We tend to focus on maintaining the newness while building up your foundation. Sometimes it feels like your head will explode. Sometimes you feel like you'll burst. Things may get tough, but you get tougher. Bodybuilders say that you must work and then rest to allow your muscles to expand and increase strength. Everything you've been through has brought you to this point in your journey. What are you learning? What are you becoming? What are you unbecoming? So it's up to you to decide what you will manifest. Make today you day one.
Keep growing! Keep pushing! Keep it moving! Don't keep silent and let the world go by. Join me as we make our way along the journey to our best life. The purple life. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, it's the perfect time to learn something new. You can squeeze classes in while commuting, working out or before bedtime. Online courses are being offered left and right with huge holiday discounts. With COVID-19 continuing to ravage the country, more needs are being uncovered that society needs to tackle. In sales, you deal with all types of people. You have to move with the trends to gain or maintain your customer base. Let the music play for the holidays
Happy Sunday Everyone!!! How has your weekend gone? This weekend, I practiced extreme self care by letting the music play. I entered into the Magnificent Holiday Party, Friday Night Git-Down, Saturday Night Liveπ π΅, Club Quarantine and several virtual holiday concerts and birthday parties. You're bound to chase your holiday blues. With the increase of COVID-19 variant infections, I stayed home... recovering in place. Since my surgery, I have developed piercing headaches above my right eye. Oftentimes, I'll take my ibuprofen. close my eyes and listen to music. This pandemic has highlighted the fact that DJs are still saving lives. Music is a healing balm to overcome the pains and pressures of life. Studies have proven the benefits of lyrics and melodies coming together. I have seen the rise of House music with the Chosen Few DJs, the Hot Mix 5, and House Junkies sponsoring events like drive-ins, picnics and travel destination packages for their loyal fans Chicago is the birthplace of Gospel music. The team at Inspiration 1390am sponsored the Biggest Give & Receive Benefit concert recently, raising funds and collecting toys for needy families. The station take calls, texts, and emails from their listeners. Every single day, they get testimonies, sage advice and prayers over the airwaves. Often, the DJs get the same in return. The music is a Ministry for Sonya Blakey and DeAndre Patterson. Staying home for some has become an exercise in isolation, depression, and hopelessness. People are reaching out to find some sort of comfort and community. Many DJs are putting their product and skills online and on social media. I've even seen people who used to DJ dust off their equipment to see if they still got it. Now, there are classes that can teach you how to DJ. All of this proves that the human race starves and will search for connections and confirmation. The ultimate goal is a sense of wellbeing and belonging. Many messages from 2021are being taught about pivoting your talents into a livelihood. I implore you to follow your calling. Hone your craft so that you are ready to be the next "overnight sensation". Let's take our creativity to the limits in pursuit of the best life in 2022. The purple life. What do you do to maximize your self care? What type of activities make things well in your world? Are you inspired to reach for your own success even with the holiday stress? Living authentically is lasting happiness
Happy Saturday Everyone! We have seven days until Christmas. It's a full moon tonight so I've been sheltering in place to avoid the insanity. COVID-19 and its variants have reared its ugly head again aiming right for the holidays. Some people are having a hard time due to past traumas and triggers. One person even posted this long rant about every Xmas tragedy in their life- ending with "F**k Christmas". Men are taught to put on a brave face and show no emotion. Women often hide behind makeup, hairpieces and surgical procedures. Why are we like this? Who do we pretend to be? What is the public persona vs the at home individual? Do you code switch? Do you change your voice based on who you're speaking to? How many filters do you use on your photos? How recent are your profile pics? Let's face it. There are roles we play everyday, but how close is that to the real you? Interviewers always ask this question of character actors. There is always the search for truth and knowledge. Often, people suffer from Imposter Syndrome when stretching beyond the norm. Criminals always look over their shoulder to see when they'll get caught. So why stress? Why worry? Why not try being your authentic self? The world needs more individuals, not herds or clusters. Prince was an individual who can never be duplicated. Oprah embodies this concept by breaking newscaster norms and enriching a whole generation of TV and news media. So just do you. Nobody can be you but you. So be the best you that you can be. It's the best gift to give yourself, and others will appreciate that too. Are you ready to live authentically? Can you be in the moment with yourself? Does living your truth excite you? Or frighten you? Share your comments below. Thanks for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!

Do Something For You In 2022
Happy Friday Everyone!!! TGIF is the theme for today. This time of the year is very reflective for me. Taking the time to focus on my desires has reignited a fire within. How have things been going since the 7-Day Manifest Challenge? I've taken a completely different approach to my life in particular and living in general. I'm going to work smarter to pursue my goals and dreams. I've nurtured so many others that I know it's now my time. My turn to accomplish great things. My turn to impact the world. My turn to do what I love and not just pay bills. 2022 has to be a different year for me. In order to transform your life, you must do something new. Something that others haven't covered or missed completely. I've taken several courses to prepare for my latest venture. Interacting with like-minded professionals was fun and I'll probably get a chance to do it again. It doesn't hurt to stretch yourself. Expand your mind. Share new experiences. I encourage you to experiment with your efforts this season. Do something out of the ordinary. Spend some time doing something that your family, friends or loved ones participate in. You might find the next big thing to elevate your level of living. Share your skills, knowledge and expertise to create mutually beneficial opportunities. Are you feeling the same? Do you want a better life? How have you moved forward on your path? Life is a journey that should be traveled together. Let's support each other as we reach our goals of living the best life. Keep your eyes on the prize
Happy Friday Eve!!! Christmas is nine days away... and there's no snow in Chicagoπππ The sunshine is invigorating even though it's cold. So how are you looking at your life? Are you happy doing what you're doing? Or is it a daily struggle to survive? In sales, we have goals to meet and service levels to maintain. In life, it's much the same. Everyone has an idea of how they want to live. Often, we strive to achieve our heart's desires. Sometimes, we distracted by tough situations. We put our dreams on the backburner while fulfilling obligations. Putting our collective heads down can make us lose focus. One day, you wake and wonder "What happened?". During the holidays, people write year-end letter recapping everything they've done the past 12 months. What would yours say? Are you going for gold? Or did you give up? For those in a numb, stuck place, there's good news... you're still alive!!! As long as there's breath in your body, you can change. I work with clients in transition from one phase to another. Mostly, I listen to their regrets. Their struggles. Their frustrations. Their sadness. Their losses. The most important thing they've taught me is to live life to the fullest. Take advantage of the moment. Do what needs to be done to make your dreams come true. As I watched an online event for entrepreneurs, I saw vibrance. I saw energy. They reminisced while looking forward to the future. The event organizers asked speakers to share their expertise while encouraging attendees to remain vigilant. I pass this encouragement on to you. Don't quit your pursuits. When you do, you give your prize away to the one who endured to the end. You've got nine days to the holiday, and fifteen days until 2022. Take the remainder of 2021 to reflect on the year that was. How do you plan to survive post COVID-19? Where will you be in six months? Next year? Five years from now? If you have issues answering these questions, consult with an advisor to sort things out. No matter what, don't give up. Keep P.U.S.H.ING!!! Press towards the mark of the high calling. Find your purpose and expound upon it. Dare to dream again. It's not too late. You're not alone. The future awaits you. Show the world what you're meant to do. I'll be using this time wisely. So, what are you doing with your life from this point forward? Share your comments below. Thanks for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy. You can always start over
So today was a melancholy day. The weather was mild for December. I'm in a new phase where I'm recovering from surgery and pivoting to entrepreneurship. You definitely want growth in your career, but must face reality that things can change on a dime. I have been taking online courses, summits and conferences. The gems dropped and nuggets captured make me realize the amount of learning I still must do. It feels like I'll be back in "school" learning how to launch, scale and grow my businesses. Luckily, my PIVOT game is strong and my desire has overtaken me. So how do you navigate the choppy waters? Can you tell when the time has come? Follow your gut instincts. They're a gift from God that won't steer you wrong. Sometimes life turns us into survivors who put our dreams on the backburner. But now is the perfect time to start over. The pandemic has turned the world upside down. Social media has made it possible to be successful doing what you love. Even if you start over, it's not from scratch. Mental Health During The Holidays
Happy Tuesday Everyone. So much is going on in the news right now. The economy. Gun violence. Politics. Natural disasters. Trials and tribulations. COVID variants. Social media. Many things can bring unexpected feelings and emotions. The holiday season can amplify these problems emotionally. The body reacts to these stressors which adds heaviness towards what people are coping through. We've been in this pandemic for almost two years. Society thinks you're supposed to "be positive". You're expected to just celebrate the times and spread cheer. Forget about your problems and keep it moving. Keep it going. Keep it flowing. Just today, I read about a man who killed his ex-girlfriend and ex- wife before committing suicide. He ranted on Facebook Live while waiting to ambush his exes- stating he had no one to talk to. I take calls often from friends in need. Each one reaching out to the one person that they know has some positivity and light that they're praying for. I have to admit, it's difficult because you need your tank filled too. Sometimes you need someone to be there for you as well. But how do you cope with awkward feelings during the holidays? In my research, I found ten different ways that you can truly handle the seasonal blues. They are as follows:
- Limit the number of people and households you visit
- Accept your needs
- Write a gratitude list
- Offer thanks
- Manage your time
- Don't try to do too much
- Be realistic
- Set boundaries
- Practice relaxation
- Exercise daily

Don't Let Anyone Dash Your Dreams
Happy Monday Everyone. This weekend was very rough weatherwise, but we survived. Its 12 Days before Christmas, and we are truly blessed to still be here. Be a blessing to someone this holiday season. IG has a implemented a star system to support live feeds. I was listening to my favorite DJ who turned it into a charitable fundraiser. God was able to use that technical glitch and turn it around for people's good... which leads right into my topic. The current space race made the news again. This past Saturday, the group went up and came back in 10 minutes. In all of the press coverage to promote this feat, GMA spoke with an astronaut who had been on the space station for six months. Her attitude was sour grapes and salty tears. She kept mentioning how those three minutes might have meant something to somebody. How those three minutes can change your life. She kept infusing her experience and downplaying those "astronauts" quote for their three minutes of space. The interviewer picked up on this lack of enthusiasm and cut the interview short. The message- no matter what you do there will always be naysayers. There will always be someone who will rain on your parade. How many of you have felt this way? How many of you have haters? How many of you have detractors? How many of you have people who rain on your parade because of their fears that aren't your own? I want to encourage you this evening. Don't let anyone dash your dreams. God gave the vision to you. It wasn't a conference call. It wasn't a Bible study. And it certainly wasn't a sermon. God placed the seed in your heart to do His will. People may never understand it. People will never know how you deserved it. People won't understand how it is that you came to be across this idea. Look at the billionaires who are going into the space race. Elon Musk Time Person of the Year, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson. These billionaires have created things that have been outside of the norm. Obviously what they're doing works because they are gaining more and more money. When people talk about the space race, they talk about poverty. Just like when Jesus was on this earth, they talked about the woman spilling the oil on Jesus being spent on the poor. He said the poor you'll have with you always but I won't be here always. My goal is to be able to use my pockets to bless someone else. My desire is to form a foundation. I live a modest life, but I want to take it to the next level. Most people want to leave something for their families as well. They want their loved ones to be taken care of and ensure that from generation to generation their family will be okay. This is why I participated in the challenge. This is why I'm challenging you today. Don't stop! Don't quit! Don't let anyone put an obstacle in your way. Even if there's a bump, it is a comma not a period. You can get up. You can do this. You can keep moving forward. Let me hear from you. Please share your comments below. The Children Are Our Future
Happy Sunday Everyone. The news is dominated by the storms tornadoes and devastation that ripped across the country. Its heartbreaking. However, there are miracles and survivor stories emerging around shielding loved ones and coworkers during the chaos. I want to focus on the children. Parents and grandparents providing human shields to their little ones. My home church in Cleveland had their Children's Choir Christmas concert. One of my fondest memories as a child was singing in that choir. I was very young but I do remember sitting behind those rostrum seats peering out into the pews. Looking back, singing is not my gift as much as I love music. My mother always wanted us to try everything and anything that we could ever think of because we might pursue it someday. Luckily, my brother, sister and I've all found our way in this life. Now the reason why I'm focusing on the children today is because we need to do better by them. They have been quarantined with COVID. Their education is disrupted. They have to deal with bullying, peer pressure and school shootings. They are inheriting inclement weather, climate change and global warming. Violence is plaguing our country. They are watching adults split over political views on a local, national and global scale. Most of them don't even have a formal concept of what it all means. We need to do better by our children. I don't have any children and I'm not raising any children in this crazy mixed up world. I try to influence all the young people who are in my life to do better. Grow better. Be better. But we adults need to help. We need a lot more mentors to reach back and pour into our children. We need a lot more schools to teach the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We also need some law and order. The fact that people are shooting in schools on a constant basis- people going out to buy guns for their children to shoot up schools is beyond me. I was actually in the audience for an Oprah show that never aired because the families of the killers were not pleased with how they were being portrayed. The killers of the students. So I say this very heavily because I see the pictures of the Civil Rights Movement. I see the pictures of schools and being integrated, busing and segregation that existed beforehand. So many generational curses have passed down the line that we really need to look back and see where the mistakes were made. We don't want to carry that into the future. We only have a few months left in 2021 and I want our children to be set on the right course. They are our future. They hold the keys to the world. They will be the ones traveling in space. They will be the ones in public office. They will be global ambassadors. They will have what we instill in them. So take your honor seriously. If God blessed you to be a parent, be a parent. Kids have enough friends as it is. Bestow the love, discipline and knowledge of a parent. Bruce Lee stated "Instead of buying your children all the things you never had, you should teach them all the things you were never taught. Material wears out, but knowledge stays.". I couldn't agree more. Receive this message in the peace and joy intended. Pray for those who have suffered under these undeniable circumstances. While sheltering in place, be safe during this pandemic. Spread some hope for the future into your families during this holiday season. But I certainly do want to hear from you. Christmas Conversations
Satur-YAY!!! So we have been talking about taking charge over your life. Taking time out to really fix yourself. Refocus on your desires, dreams and goals. Renew, relax, relate release and get ready for 2022. But let's take it one day at a time. It's the holiday season. What have you done to end 2021 on a high note? What have you done to fix the issues that you don't want to carry over? The holidays provide the perfect time to reach out to our friends and loved ones. Office parties and year end festivities provide convenient networking opportunities. It's also a time to have tough "Come to Jesus" conversations. You want to analyze the ups and downs of the relationship. Do this to make sure that the bonds are stronger, or sever ties. Do we do that for ourselves? Do we really take the time to focus on who we are and what we need to do to make things better? Are we still carrying baggage from years past? Are we still weighted down with yesteryear? Still doing things the old fashioned way? Just not updating. Not clarifying. Not recognizing. Not clarifying things to ensure our future success. So here are some things to really think about when hosting these discussions. Do you still hold on to past problems? Do you still get mad about the past? Are you still in a relationship, in your mind, that ended years ago physically? Have you had feuds with family members or friends that have not been fixed? Have you leaned in on something that you know is not good for you? These are just some of the questions to ask yourself when manifesting God's plan for your life. You really need to make sure that you have solidified your past before heading into the new year. You can truly move forward without regrets, cares or concerns. If anything, you want to make sure that you are not burdened down or heavy laden with issues that could really be resolved. Deal with your issues with love and leave them where they need to be left. Think on these things, and let's work this out together. Share your thoughts below. Thank you for reading this article and supporting this blog space. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Manifest Your Entire Life!
Happy Friday Everyone! As this weekend starts up, the mood in the country has changed. Wild weather, Omicron variants, supply shortages and publicized layoffs are wreaking havoc on the 2021 holiday season. Potential COVID-19 protocols are bringing tensions to a boil. People are defying federal mandates and attacking airline employees and others who try to enforce them. The feeling of frantic nerves are causing desperate reactions. Shootings, suicides, beatings and abuse are at an all time high and its overwhelming. Scarce resources are causing problems for providers and social service organizations. Many charities are seeing declining contributions while covering a greater need. Economic issues and policy restrictions curtail the optimal assistance that people need. Well I have some good news to share.
You still have control over your life. You control your thoughts. You control your emotions. You control your actions. You can manifest things in your life. It's easy to lose focus and be distracted by the world around us. Someone actually commented that manifesting isn't "Christian". However, our beliefs are God given. Our core is comprised of our spirituality. Our heart are filled with the love of God and our desire is to do His will. Christ is the head of my life hence the reason for my existence. I've been a part of a community called "Faithful Mornings with Pastor Ericka Davis ". It is a safe space on Facebook to pray and ask for prayer from group members. I need to shift focus from the negativity that surrounds us to the positive support that a group setting bolsters. I need you to join me on quest for elevation. Self help gurus are popping up as fast as the internet allows. So who do you trust? Who do you turn to? For me, it's always been the church. People tend to quietly seek solace and comfort there. One thing COVID-19 has shown is that you cannot play or delay in reaching for your dreams. I'm excited about this part of the journey. I expect to come out stronger, wiser, and sharper in 2022. I want to be in the moment rather than stressing and worrying about the future. I hope that the manifestation techniques we used will transform our lives. What are your thoughts? Peace Comes From Simple Things
Happy Thursday Everyone. The past few days taught me a lesson in positive vs negative energy. When manifesting your dreams, it's important to keep your momentum going. You attract the energy that you emit. Positive usually attracts positive and negative usually attract negative. Some people always have the glass half empty attitude. They have a woe is me mantra. And they just rain on your parade. My focus has been on setting my goals for 2022 and beyond. After living in that headspace for the past week or so has been uplifting. I vibrate highly and inspire those around me. I really had to work on myself. It was scary yet phenomenal at the same time. Most of the advice that I give to people, I found myself using. You have to do the work. You must lift yourself above the emotions, circumstances and fears. You manifest the visions you see for yourself. I've been using multiple things while resting and recovering from surgery. I've been throwing myself into music and surrounding myself with positive TV shows, images and positivity on social media. Jesus is on my side, Jesus loves me and He loves you too. I'm usually the one who people come to when they're having a bad time. When they need that pick me up. When they want somebody who's going to deposit a positive word. Someone who can at least give them some empathy, not so much sympathy. I finally reached a point today where I felt peace. It's Friday Eve! Time to let loose, let go, and release the things that are not serving me. So I want to offer that to you as well. We want to blossom with the positivity in life, rather than the negativity that life can also offer. Want to walk towards the light and reach for the mark of the high calling. Live out our purpose following God's plan for our life. Truly living the purple life. So, let's focus on that positivity. Let's look at the bright side, let's look at the glass as refillable. Peace does come from the smaller, simpler things in life. So let's be mindful of seeking peace this weekend. What are your thoughts? Share your comments below. Challenge Manifested
Happy Wednesday Everyone. We made it to the end of the 7-Day Manifest Challenge. It's now time to measure the progress. We all have gifts and talents amongst a variety of industries. Some focused on personal desires. Others honed in on professional goals. We really want to manifest great things and live a glamorous life. We want to blossom with the positivity in life, rather than rot in the negativity that life can also offer. People want to walk towards a light and reach for the mark of the high calling. But how do we live our purpose? Let's recap what our challenge was comprised of:
1 Visualize what you want
2.Write down 3 things you desire.
3 Make bold steps towards goals
4 Act as if you already have it.
This week, we got to identify our desires and formalize our goals. We're moving boldly towards accomplishing and possessing our dreams. We have actionable steps and focused energies. So where do we go from here?
What we need to do is to let go and let God. He's had the blueprint since the beginning of time. He's teaching us how to live, to survive. When He gives us what He wants us to have, we will know how to handle it. Eventually there's an awakening. We come to ourselves. Eventually, we come back to our Father God since He has the best for us. The best of intentions. The best of possibilities. Sometimes we just shut our world down because we're overwhelmed. But we're equipped to handle it. Everything that we've ever needed He's put inside of us. What we need to do is to tap in to His grace and His mercy. Allow Him to bring out the best in you and enhancing the life that we're living. Elevate to the purple llife. Share your comments below. Decide To Manifest Your Destiny
Happy Tuesday Everyone. So its Choose Day- whether you are boldly moving forward or staying stuck. On Day 6 of our 7-Day Manifest Challenge, you should see progress. You must let go of the fear and go forward in faith. Trust that God has got your back and move based on what He told you for your life. It's a sad reality of the "struggle". The "battlefield" of the mind. The ying vs the yang. It has been a process for me to focus on my creativity rather than my analytical skills. The naturally curious and inquisitive me versus the vivid visionary and intuitive me. As an Aquarius, I wrestle back and forth as both sides are rising to the surface. This pandemic taught me to be more God reliant as He worked on defining my "self". He laid out His goals for me. He gave me more visions as glimpses of what the future holds for me. God allowed me this pandemic time to truly see the path He has me on and why some things had to happen in life. I've been building the consistency of this blog which will lead to the seven-fold focus of my life in Him. God had to remove the foolishness of my life, my job, and my surroundings to delete distractions and maintain the markers He set for my journey. I've talked about it for way too long. Actions speak louder than words so watch out for my updates. In the meantime, let's talk about the heart of the matter. Are you fulfilling God's purpose for your life? Has He made the vision plain for you? Are you tired of hiding your talents, dreams and desires? Can you put your trust in Him to put it together for you? Or is the struggle for your mind too much for you to bear? Have you numbed your sense of being with drugs, alcohol, or other attention stealing addictions? Do you feel like you've lost your freedom? Are you ready and able to reclaim it? If you're having trouble answering these questions, seek professional help. If not, share your comments below. Let's help each other move forward, gathering together to get through this thing called life. We're still marching towards the mark of the high calling but with intention. It's time for you and for me to go and get it. I expect to hold myself accountable as we embark on this next leg of the journey. 2020 taught us that tomorrow is not promised. 2021 is revealing that time waits for no one. 2022 will remind us of the changes we're making today for a brighter future. Thank you for your continued support of this blog content and articles. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!

Step Boldly To Your Manifest Destiny
Monday Monday... you've done it again. Today Mark's Day 5 of the 8-Day Manifest Challenge. This sales season is wiping me out. While recovering from surgery I have pushed the boundaries a bit. However, I am weary, tired and worn. Dealing with the pandemic and sheltering in place is safe but routine. Having the holiday season upon us, I really felt the need to do things differently. So I literally took the chance to read, refresh, and recall things that I knew but buried deep in my soul. It felt so good to just engage my faith and purpose. I was able to immerse my mind in Christmas service and songs. What have you done new recently? I realize that 2021 has been more than what we bargained for, but why wait? 2022 is 25 days away. So start the new year and new you now!!! Time waits for no one and tomorrow is not promised. Why not improve yourself in some way, shape or form? Build better habits now. Start networking now. Release your fears now. Step boldly towards your goals, dreams and desires. Think about it. What were you doing five years ago? What are you doing now? Five years from now? Do you see a pattern? Do you like what you see? Can you do better? Then do it. Do it afraid but still do it. When's the last time you accomplished your NYE resolution? Are you still dreaming of the same things? Did you start a project but didn't finish? Try it!!! JUMP!!! Become who you were meant to be. Follow your purpose and live your best life. The purple life. What is the next step you can take to move towards your goal? I'm blogging more consistently, sharing my journey with you. Share your journey in the comments below. God Gave You The Vision To Manifest
Happy Sunday Everyone. How are you doing on the 7-Day Manifest Challenge? What have you written down for your desired goals? What moves have you made this weekend? Well I had quite the day today. As much as I wanted to run around being busy, God put obstacles in my way. I kept refocusing on Him and His ways. I had to submit to His plan for today. All roads led back to God as I sheltered in place. I'd been saying what I wanted for my life, but He gave me the vision and made it plain years ago. He gave me a glimpse of my future and He's encouraging me to GO FOR IT!!! I've hesitated about taking action due to job demands, distractions and outside obligations. However, the pandemic has cleared the way for me. I dare say, your story is similar to mine. The timing is right and the resources are in place. God will never give you a vision without providing for its success. We need to face our fears and trust Him to see us through. For my action steps, I'm going to blog new content daily. I had put my bookwring on hold as I tapped into the more creative side of my personality. But I am ready to jump in and manifest my destiny. The transition is scary and exciting at the same time. I encourage you to evaluate the goals and benchmarks to achieve the desires identified. Map out your journey and get moving!. Delve into that side that you've kept hidden...eventually you'll get where you want go quicker. God put it deep within you for a reason. See to it the end and let it take you where God intended. You won't ever require any more than what He could provide for you. Take those first few steps on your correct path and find your way to your best life. The purple life. What actions can you take today to move towards your goals? Share you comments below. Thank you for stopping by. Take Care and God Bless!!!

Connecting To Your Manifest Destiny
Happy Saturday Everyone! We are entering Day 3 of the 7-Day Manifest Challenge. How is it going? Are you facing any issues? Have you identified what you want? It's difficult to focus efforts to complete tasks for an already jam packed weekend. The choice to elevate your life requires grit, vision, and sacrifice. I reccomend tapping into your resources. Your network is your net worth. Connect with the people who can offer you the insight, expertise and assistance that you need. Pray over your selections and compare it to Gods plan for your life. The feeling of accomplishment far exceeds the weariness of being tired and uninspired. Once you decide on your course of action, you follow God's strategies to finish the courses of action. People need the connection...the thrill of it all. We must conquer things. It's so fulfilling. We all have to do lists. Line by line. Item by item. As we knock things off, we celebrate....but don't stop. We realize it's one way to build the foundation of our lives. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. That's how you know that God is still in control, and all will work out for your good. Life isn't a race, it's a journey. It's better when.you've discovered the right path to follow. Take the time to be present in the moment. Savor the flavor of the good life. The purple life. What have you listed? How are you going to choose who can help you? What decisions need to be made still? Share your comments below. Thanks for reading this article and supporting this blog space. Stay safe, masked and healthy.Take Care and God Bless!!!

Creating the Foundation to Manifestation
Happy Friday Everyone! The holiday season is upon us, and the excitement is building. The 7-Day Manifest Challenge is underway and we come to a crucial point in this challenge: writing down three things that you desire. Not a wish list. Not resolutions. It's time for creating clear, identifiable goals that you want to achieve. Typically, this is where people fall short. Its easy to talk about pie in the sky Hope's and desires. Even easier to speak on "the future:.This weekend provides valuable time to identify what tenets of your dream can become reality. Many methods are available online for structuring goals. In doing my research, I found these suggestions for goal creation:
- Let Ideas Flow Freely
- Note Trends That Appear
- Specify & Analyze Goals
- Add Small & Large Desires
- Group Similar Items Together
- Let The List Simmer
- Adjust Goals Over Time
The pandemic has literally wiped out all the old stereotypes mores, norms, and methods as far as how business used to be done. If you're savvy with social media, then you can jump into these new devices and make your dreams come true. If you are a crafty person, you can create the niche or the item or the product that could be the next bestseller on the list. It's all up to you. And again, no one has your eyesight. No one has your vision. No one has your talents. No one has your gifts. You alone know what you're capable of. And you alone know the kind of energy that you're willing to expand to get the items that you want. If you want the prize, you have to conduct yourself like a winner. You have to believe that you're gonna win and you have to put in the effort to win. If you want to win you have to be coached. You have to be managed. You have to be focused, but you have to put your all into it. Now families can help friends can help. associates can certainly give you some guidance, but ultimately, this is up to you. Hopefully, you find your direction in this challenge. Ultimately it is up to you. Allow these last few days of 2021 to prepare you to level up. Set yourself up to win at life. I've been posting every day during this challenge adding some helpful tools along the way. But I certainly want to hear from you. Please share your comments below. Visualize What You're Manifesting
Happy Thursday Everyone!!! I am so excited about the 7-Day Manifest Challenge. The first item on the list is to visualize What you want very clearly. Let's take it a step further... MAKE YOUR VISION SO CLEAR THAT YOUR FEARS BECOME IRRELEVANT! oftentimes, it's the fear of the unknown that holds us back. The Bible says "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." This verse has been quoted and used for a multitude of reasons. Mainly, folks use these words to formulate plans and processes. To me, it's more about preservation. Many great ideas are lost because no one captured the moment. The greatest collection of good ideas is in the graveyard. So many people abandon their dreams to work within their reality. The fear of moving outside your comfort zone is full of the greatest risks and the best rewards. I must admit, I was given my vision five (5) years ago. God gave me a vision that I buried in my heart. I protected it and obsessed about it, but movement was slow. I've taken the classes and laid the blueprint but stayed in the planning and hoping stage. But it kept calling me, burning me up inside. It's always on my mind and I've met many others similarly suffering along the way. I see their success and their failures. Timing is everything. I realize that this is my season. 2020 cleared the path and blazed the way to change my life's trajectory. 2021 gave me the courage to survive and thrive in this pandemic. Good connections are developing and technology is flourishing. Social media has expanded and is essential to marketing, research and development. I'm more excited about the future rather than allowing time to pass me by. Have you felt this way? Have you seen all the success stories? Have you noticed these people have been working their craft for 10, 20, 30 years but now reaping the rewards? Do you want that success for yourself? What is the work you're willing to do to get there? As I evolve, I try to share the journey with you. How can we work together to reach our goals? Share your comments below. Thanks for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!

7-Day Manifest Challenge
Hello everyone and Happy December. Today is the first day of the last month of 2021. I'm really excited about is this new challenge that I found. This is the seven day manifest challenge. I've seen so many courses online, on social media for living your best life. Shooting your best shot. Taking advantage of these turbulent times. Pivoting. This challenge caught me by surprise. When we talk about manifest or manifestation, that's self determination. That's the mindset that people work towards to achieve their goal. Reminds me of my bishop, Sainted Bishop Arthur M. Brazier, and the book he wrote about building self determination. When it comes to manifesting your goals, your dreams, your desires, it takes putting forth some effort. People don't want to invest that kind of energy. They are so stressed and depressed from the life that they settled for that the energy just seems to drain from them. In the insurance industry, these next seven days are the end of the Medicare annual enrollment period. Generally, salespeople make their money for the entire year during this time. Warning for those of you who are on Medicare. You want to be careful and choose the plan that's best for you. Because someone will sell you based on what's best for them (free tip). So this challenge is a really good one and very manageable over these next seven days. Take them one at a time. Now what you'll notice is that this challenge is broken up into several easy chunks and it really fits right into the theme this week of being focused and not allowing your distractions to take over your life. Commit to following these steps over the next few days:
1. Visualize what you want very clearly
z Write down 3 things that you desire. 2.
3 Make bold steps towards what you desire.
4 Act as if you already have it.
What you want to do is to make sure you are intentional with your actions. You are intentional with your goals. You are intentional. With your vision. When you paint a picture, it's abstract or it's very clear what it is you're doing. Now the interpretation of that is left up to the individual. You as the artist of your life. You know exactly what you're trying to put out there. Life happens. People get new jobs. People get fired from their jobs. People do a lot of things that knock them off the road. Whether it be drugs or other addictions or simply not believing in themselves, people lose their way. Having this list will help you maintain your focus. Having this list will help you to visualize the goals that you have as well as making measurable steps to achieve them. Don't take this lightly but take it in the manner that is given to you. Americans are tired of the pandemic. We're tired of the Coronavirus. We certainly don't care about COVID-19. Whether it's the Delta or Omichron variant, we're fatigued by the ignorance of people who just risking their lives with this deadly disease out there. The lack of freedom. The lack of care. We can never be too tired of our dreams, goals or ambition. One of the things that should energize you is moving towards the mark of the high calling for which your purpose is in life. So let's go on this journey together. Share your comments below. Thank you for reading this article and supporting this blogspace. Stay safe, masked and healthy. Take Care and God Bless!!!
